The building of a 350Z SCCA race car -- click on pix for blowups

In the beginning, it didn't really
look like a Nissan very much

We added a few more pieces.
Still not so much like a race car

Then we started adding more
custom fabricated pieces,
like this shift linkage

And a LOT more custom pieces
to fit into all the empty spaces

We kept on adding stuff (like an
ENGINE and a way to STEER it!)

Until, FINALLY, it started to
look more like a car than a pile of junk

Then we had to WIRE it up!

Occasionally, we had to take a
break from car construction to
do customer dyno pulls
(Homer watches our EVERY move!)

We even get some street
'hot rods' on our machine
from time to time.

However, we eventually found
the time to complete the car.
The graphics add a nice touch,
don't you think?

And then, we tested it on the track.
A pretty successful effort!
